Army Brat - born in the Forces.
Have worked in Finance and currently am an Admin Officer in a career assisting the public with a wide variety of subjects - face to face and via 'phone/email.
First Aider
Qualified Holistic Therapist and in Sound Healing, and Tutor of Holistic Therapies.
Community Volunteer for many years, including: Brown Owl, Environmental (Queens Award recognised) in improving our local area in a variety of positive ways, including accessibility, Local History Group Secretary, Revival of local Gala Days, assisting other communities in reviving their Gala Days.
Main pride is being a mother to two young adults. My joy.
Was an extra with Real People many years ago when the company was starting out, and I loved every minute Stopped due to bringing up my children and studying holistic therapies.
Previous Jobs:
Previously was with Real People and worked on a number of programmes and films: Greyfriars Bobby (James Cosmo's wife), Taggart, Take the High Road, Dr Finlay, Rab Nisbett, and a number of other comedies and dramas, including being directed by David Hayman in a court-room drama, and being James Cosmo’s wife.
Have worked in Accountancy, and now work 3 days a week in an office assisting members of the public with a variety of concerns from uncollected waste bins to sewage issues to health issues, to anything really! The rest of the week I am self-employed as a Holistic Therapist, which I love. I also teach Reflexology and Massage.
Skills
Having just tried the measurements - I wouldn't say I have a skill in that! Apologies if all incorrect!
I understand the hours that working as an extra on set can involve. I understand the weather conditions that we can experience.
I love meeting new people, and am a good listener. Happy to follow direction.
Am a qualified Clinical Reflexologist, Clinical Aromatherapist, Sound Healing Therapist, Master Reiki, and other Holistic skills.
First Aider
I am good at communicating and helping people.
I can drive - but only my own automatic car, which is adapted. I can walk, but can only drive using my left leg due to a birth defect. This does not hold me back though, and most people don't realise I have a disability.
