Biography
I’m Joy Powell, 21 years old and am a graduate of Queen Margaret University studying BA (Hons) Theatre and Film. This course involved acting in student films/shows, writing my own screenplays, learning to use a camera and so much more.
While in high school I took Music and Drama to Adv Higher while also doing a college course in S5, NPA Acting & Performance and NPA Professional Theatre Preparation (SCP). I've been in school shows since the age of 7 such as The Lion King and Hook.
I’ve been singing since I was really young, getting lessons and being part of shows then further on started teaching myself guitar before getting professional lessons in high school.
