I currently work in a library and am involved in developing a service fit for the diverse and developing communities we live in. I love this job and work hard to break down barriers that may discourage someone accessing books, reading, Internet and community.
I've worked in homecare taking care of our elderly residents, I feel this made me a better person and loved what I was able to do to take care of our older generation. I have cared for my mum who had dementia, myself and my sisters were able to keep her in her own home with the support of homecare services and All together Care sitting service.
On another note I have worked in a pub in my younger days and loved that too!
I love 1950's style and have many outfits (too many!)
I know my way around a kitchen and am confident enough to knock out a dinner for 10.
I spent a difficult time in hospital and recovery this year which has given me a greater appreciation of the NHS and also a new lease of life.
I am a huge Country Music fan and run a listening group on Discord every Sunday
