Biography
My name is Giovanna, I'm Italian and I'm 49 years old. I've been married for 22 years and I have two children , a 21 year old daughter and a 17 year old son.
My dad moved in Scotland when I was just 9 months old so when I was old enough I came here to visit him and I fell in love with Edinburgh. My great grandmother was also born in Blairgowrie in 1902, so in a way I came back to my roots.
I then came back to Edinburgh when I was around 25 years old to learn English and in the meantime I was studying Law at the University in Italy. I was only supposed to stay for 9 months, however, my life changed when I met my future husband. I stayed in Edinburgh and slowly we started building a life together, and 24 years later, I’m still here in the city I fell in love with. I’m a loving mother and also self-employed and I love my kids more than anything .
