I have been involved in reenactment groups specialising in Medieval, Roman, Viking, and 1940s period at varying points in life.
I have always danced, studying Ballet, jazz and Egyptian Belly dancing.
I studied a degree in creative arts (fine art and drama studies) in Bath where I also taught and performed Belly dancing.
I have worked in various shops, restaurants, cafes and bars and a beef stock farm.
I studied my MSc in Bioarchaeology at the University of York.
I worked for an Archaeological company for a few years on various excavations, grave sites and post-excavation analysis in all weathers.
I retrained as a Paramedic gaining a DipHE in paramedic science. I worked for the Welsh Ambulance Service Trust for several years working alongside Fire, Police, Military and Helicopter medics and service people. I also became involved in pre-hospital research and published studies. I was a blue lights trained driver also.
I relocated to Scotland 2 years ago and have been working as a private carer whilst also caring for my 3 year old.
I have rock climbed for over 10 years, and have always got out in the hills, running or walking. I attend the gym regularly for weight and cardio training and boxing.
In my spare time I am very crafty and passionate about heritage crafts. I knit and sew, dress make, repair, embroider and am learning how to use a spinning wheel. I also enjoy gardening.
