I was born and grew up in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, where I was always passionate about art and textiles. I studied surface textiles at the London College of Fashion. From then onwards I worked in the fashion industry.
When travelling in America, I met my husband, who grew up in Scotland, and we travelled the world together. eventually settling back in Livingston to get married and start a family.
Whilst pregnant, I learnt how to teach yoga and was a teacher of Vinyasa flow for a few years whilst also working in retail.
It was during this stage that I started my make-up journey when I was taking product photography for companies and decided to add an extra element of character make-up into a photo.
From this point onwards I was completely dedicated to learning the art of make-up and taught myself how to body and face paint and learnt everything there was to know about runway and editorial make-up, before going on to gaining professional qualifications in make-up and hair for TV, film and theatre.
I am an extremely hard working and passionate individual who enjoys using the face and body as a canvas to express my creativity. I have designed hair and make-up for theatre productions during the Fringe festival for the last 2 years, and have been the Key make-up artist in a feature film creating special effects. Along with work within TV, film and theatre I also offer one to one make-up classes, character make-up for events, Bridal/ occasion make-up, and birthday packages.
