Biography
I am Jackie Aitken, 60 years old who has recently retired from my teaching career. I was Head Teacher of a Primary School where I had to employ a wide range of skills and strategies to lead and manage my school and it's community.
I am also a member of a choir, Sing in the City, Livingston, where we have performed in the Usher Hall and various busking sessions across Edinburgh and the Lothians.
I am a creative person and enjoy all arts. I am also an avid reader and a member of a book group. I also love dabbling in photography.
I am a keen golfer and a member of my local club. I also like to keep fit, walking regularly and when weather permits, enjoy cycling. I love going to the theatre and meeting up with my friends. However, above everything, l love to travel, exploring different cultures and places with my husband.
In my younger days I modelled wedding dresses and also modelled for Edinburgh photography club.
Having retired, I find that I have some free time and am looking to diversify my experiences and that is why I reached out to Real People Casting.
Skills
I am an effective communicator and able to lead or work as part of a team. I am a good listener. I enjoy most sports - including golf - where I won bronze championship @5 times at my local club. I also enjoy cycling and pickleball. I have some knowledge of conversational French. I enjoy cooking.
