Biography
I was born and raised in Helensburgh. I am 16 years old and currently in sixth year at secondary school at Hermitage Academy, where I’ve been recently selected as a school captain. I wish to pursue musical theatre and acting as a course in the future. I have been dancing since the age of 2. I play the saxophone, bagpipes, and self taught the ukulele. My interests include netball, where I was the captain of the under 17s team at my club, dancing, and I previously attended scouts from the age of 6-16 which offered lots of experience including cycling, climbing, kayaking, swimming, and much more. I have achieved my bronze DofE and I am currently working towards my silver. I volunteer as a teaching assistant at my dance school where I help teach children from the ages of 2-12. I received an award in s4 for achieving the highest score in nat 5 drama in my school. In school I have taken part in 4 school shows although one didn’t go forward because of covid-19. Earlier this year I completed my higher exams and the year previously I sat my National 5s. At both levels I took music as an add on subject meaning I had to self teach the course at home and didn’t sit music as a class in school. At nat 5 I still managed to achieve an A, I am still waiting for my higher results.
Skills
I started dancing at the age of 2. I do various styles of dancing including ballet, jazz, tap, acro, and musical theatre. I have played the saxophone for 8 years in which I have gained up to grade 6, and I have played the practice chanter/bagpipes for 5 years.
