Biography
I am a very recently retired primary school Head Teacher. I have been teaching for 32 years. Prior to this, I lived and worked in Spain for 4 years, working for Thomson Holidays, hence the reason I speak Spanish. I have always had a very keen interest in sport and keeping fit. Since my retirement, I have taken up golf, which I really enjoy. My husband and I enjoy travelling and spending time on holiday.
Skills
I am a confident individual with considerable experience managing and leading others in the workplace. Having worked in a school within a high level of deprivation, I am acutely aware of the needs of others and how to support them, both children and adults. I am also a team player and recognise the need to work alongside others to create a conducive environment. I am able to adapt my approach within a range of ages.
I speak Spanish relatively well and enjoy the opportunities to speak it when I am travelling.
