Don’t count the days, make the days count is my motto. I stole it from Mohammed Ali many years ago. Life is for living and that is what I’ve been doing since retiring from teaching (early) in 2022.
I am a positive person and I always try to see the best in others.
I grew up in a market town called Haddington but now live in West Lothian.
I studied in Glasgow and became a teacher in 1989 then taught for 33 years full time. Can honestly say I really loved my career, working with the young people was so rewarding. I am Married with 3 grown up children now aged 28,26 and 23 and I am a Granny to two adorable daschounds. We don’t have our own dog as we travel too often and it wouldn’t be fair. I spend my days walking, golfing, meeting friends for coffees and I’m also a member of a choir. I also volunteer at a local Breast Cancer support group.
