Val Fallon (Ferrari)

Biography

Acting as a hobby has always run alongside my day job as a University Lecturer. However, I have now put the day job on the back burner to concentrate on my creative side. My aspirations are to work full-time as a TV and/or film actor, and I am keen to get as much experience along the way as I can. I am free to work anywhere in the UK or otherwise and can offer flexibility and availability at very short notice. I have undertaken acting courses with Acting Coach Scotland and with the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

I have a showreel and voice-reel for despatch to acting and voiceover work respectively. I am also a volunteer radio presenter for The Hospital Broadcasting Service (Glasgow) with my own radio shows (Val Ferrari).

As a Supporting Artist (SA) I have made appearances in “Garrow’s Law,” “Lip Service,” “River City,” “Crime 2,” “Payback, “Scot Squad (Featured),” “The Crown,“ “Vigil 2,” “Shetland,” “Rebus,” “Murder is Easy,” “The Rig 2,” “Lockerbie,” “Fear,” “Peter,” “Mission,” “Department Q,” “Karen Pirie 2 (Featured),” “Glenrothan,” and “Coldwater.” I am very interested in featured roles and in commercial work.

I was part of the Cadbury’s 200 years Anniversary Advert and have played speaking roles in Scot Squad and in the Victim Support Scotland Project. I have also starred in a few short films: The Burger Club, Qwerty and 3 Rounds.

My unique selling point as an Actor/SA is my expressive face, soulful eyes, velvet voice and look of Gillian Anderson (... and Celine Dion and Meryl Streep…apparently). I am articulate and confident in public speaking, as a lecturer and radio presenter, and I enunciate well - especially medical terminology. I am in very good health and love to keep fit - bit of a gym bunny.
