Biography
I've worked in public sector communications for most of my career including the NHS and, most recently, a housing association. I retired from full time work in August 2024. I've worked freelance on international design festivals and have organised many business conferences and events. So, I guess, I'm reasonably articulate.
I've lived and worked in Glasgow for most of my life but spent three years in the Sultanate of Oman in my 20s. I'm well travelled and have 25 year old daughter who's making her way as an actor.
I'm fit and well, can still manage a decent stretch at a Pilates class that I go to twice a week. I walk a lot, and often more than the expected 10,000 steps a day. I've run half marathons. I love dogs and dog sit for friends whenever I can.
Skills
I can drive (no points on my licence), have good keyboard skills and am reasonably fit.
Interviewing and creating written and visual messages are second nature to me.
