I was born and raised in Falkirk, Scotland, rooted in my Polish heritage. Being bilingual has always been a quiet strength, allowing me to connect across cultures and understand people beyond words. I stepped straight from school into nursing in 1987 and qualified as a registered general nurse (RGN) in 1991.
Nearly four decades, my career has been rich and varied. I have gained post-graduation diplomas in Independent Nurse Prescribing and Diabetes. Nursing has taught me more than clinical skill — it has shown me the depth of compassion, the importance of presence, and the power of simply being there. Now partly retired, I continue to work a few days a week, still drawn to that sense of purpose. I carry with me a lifetime of experience, empathy, and a growing curiosity to express these through new paths.
I am currently undergoing a diploma in Hypnotherapy and Holosomatic Breathwork as feel guided to incorporate a holistic approach to the care of others.
I bring nearly 40 years of nursing experience, with strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations. I am highly observant and attuned to people, with a natural ability to listen deeply and respond with empathy and authenticity.
Being bilingual in English and Polish allows me to connect across cultures. I am adaptable, reliable, and comfortable working collaboratively.
In addition, I have a full motorbike license, explore the coastline in my campervan with my Maltese dog, and have interests in music, dance, singing and the great outdoors.
