Biography
Since moving to Dundee from Aberdeen over 20 years ago, Kerry has appeared in various films, released a solo EP, created and fronted the Balkan/burlesque band The Lost Todorovs, and has just finished writing her third children’s novel.
Kerry appeared as the joint lead in 'Little Star', a moving short made for the 48Hour film competition in 2013. The film won Best of City Runner Up, Best Acting and Best Score – the latter of which included the title song ‘Little Star’, written and performed by Kerry.
Since then, Kerry has appeared in numerous films including More Than You Can Chew, a dark short made for the Reed Film Competition 2014, as Amy in Noctiflora, as nurse Gemma in the touching film Double, and as Helen in the sci-fi short Tellurian due for release in 2024. She also worked with a Dundee-based animator, using green-screen technology, to produce the beautiful 'Thaw'.
Kerry also appears as an extra in Natalie – a film by Mikey Murray and starring BAFTA award-winner Kate Dickie, and as 'Lisa' in Dundee-based feature film Schemers, winner of the 2019 Edinburgh Film Festival Audience Award.
