Biography
Amanda is an English actor now living in Scotland. She has been in the short film Unbreak Me as a newly widowed mother, the wicked Stepmother in Cinderella and has also worked on the Credit Fix on line commercial. Prior to this she has worked as an SA for both TV comedy, drama and the feature film Our Ladies.
Having started acting as a mature student in 2018 she studied at Act Up North in Leeds, with Matt Zina in York as well as on line training with Amy Jo Birman and Amy Lyndon and Christine Horn. She is now going to begin training in Glasgow with Acting Coach Scotland.
She has just finished a huge renovation of her new home and created a self tape studio, the VO booth is currently under construction. She is also writing a short film.
Amanda is an ex racehorse horse owner and has show jumped, ridden cross country, hunted with bloodhounds, ( that hunt a human runner not a fox) so is happy in any horse riding scenario. She is also a lorry driver and owns a rescue Dobermann so is confident working with all large/guard dogs and any other animals.
