Lots of life experience. I am wife, mother, grandmother, former nurse, midwife, and health visitor. I worked for the NHS for 36 years before taking early retirement in 2018 . As a NHS Community Safety Officer I was involved a collaborative project involving Police, NHS and a local film company to produce a short film addressing ways to reduce violence and aggression towards NHS staff. I had a walk on part in the final film and gained valuable insight into how a short film is made.
Since retiring I have taken on some volunteering roles, namely working in a charity shop, piloting a Trishaw for the Cycling Without Age organisation and more recently working in the local hospital cafe shop.
A number of years ago, I was involved with the Clic Sergeant Christmas Concert singing with the NHS staff choir.
