Biography
Hi, my name is Papi and I'm a 44 year old Japanese. I moved from Japan to Scotland in 2019 with my husband and 3 children. I've also previously lived in New York (for study), Thailand and Tibet for periods. Most of my career has been as a kindergarten/nursery teacher, so ad libbing, roleplaying, story-telling and dealing with kids are in my comfort zone! I also have plenty of experience in giving presentations from my days running a charity for Tibet. I'm also good at working as part of a team as my work has always required teamwork. From my experience traveling the world, dealing with kids and their parents, I know what people want me to do and what role I should take. Maybe you can say I have the Japanese work ethic but I also love to have fun! I have some experience on set now and look forward to getting more. Due to my situation at home I can be very flexible and don't mind traveling at all. Please don't hesitate to cast me!
*I've often been told on set that I have an American accent. I don't know if this is relevant but it's happened often so I mention it just in case. (I've got to be honest I'm still struggling with Scottish/British accents and phrases!!)
