I was born and raised in Edinburgh until the age of 15, at which time I moved down South. I am passionate about travelling, moving to new places and exploring. I love learning about the culture and history of a place. I have worked in the hospitality industry for almost 10 years, in a variety of roles from server to receptionist to manager.
In 2019 I went to Cambodia, with the International Citizenship Service and facilitated career skills workshops working cross culturally with Khmer volunteers. Living and working in Cambodia inspired me to consider teaching as a future career and I am now in my second year of my degree in Education at the University of the West of Scotland.
In my free time I enjoy being outdoors. I like most types of outdoor activity, in summer I especially like going for cycles, hikes, outdoor swimming and kayaking, whilst in winter try to get away skiing as much as I can. I take part in a local drama club and love going to the theatre, my favourite of time of the year is August in Edinburgh when the festival just takes over the city and there is so much to see and explore.
