Biography
Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Jayden Rodden, and I am currently 15 years old and in my 4th year at my local High School. Since my early days in primary school, I quickly realised that being actively involved in the school plays was something I really enjoyed and took great pleasure in the positive feedback and encouragement I received from my then teachers. From then on, I was hooked, and as soon as I started High School, I immediately joined the drama classes, where again I am proud to say that my drama teacher informed me from the beginning that she sees something special in me.
With all this positive encouragement and recognition, my passion towards acting continues to grow exponentially as I establish new skills and confidence. My ultimate dream is to further develop and hone these skills in the hope that I can successfully pass auditions and be allowed to fully express myself and tell stories that feel real and meaningful. Acting pushes, me out of my comfort zone and teaches me discipline and focus. The more I am committed to it, the more I know this was something I was willing to work hard for and take seriously. I spend a lot of time reading monologues and practising daily.
I plagued both my parents and my drama teacher to research the means available to me to be given a chance to take my acting to another level with the help and guidance of experienced professionals. When I was given the information I required, I immediately submitted my application and hoped for a positive outcome. I was delighted and excited to receive the opportunity to attend an interview and photo shoot, to be successful and be placed on the database for any future acting opportunities.
When that opportunity arises, I will grasp it with both hands, as this means the world to me. I believe in myself and my abilities, and I am confident that in any future endeavours, either big or small, you will receive 100% commitment. I will listen and learn as I develop the craft, adapt to all the feedback, and I guarantee I will not let you down.
