Biography
My name is Alan Craig. I am retired from working in Mental health for over 20 years. My experience ranged from working as an occupational therapy assistant to managing a residential school to working as part of mental healthcare teams in the community. At the aged of just seventeen I joined the army(1st battalion Scots Guards) serving two tours of Northern Ireland during the troubles there, three years in the far east between Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore and finally three years on royal duties in London guarding Buckingham Palace, The Tower of London and Windsor Castle. I have enjoyed a varied life and career, have travelled lots and I'm in very good health physically, mentally and spiritually. I have done considerable extra's work ranging from a Bollywood movie to working with Daniel Craig on a second world war movie, some tv commercials, tv programmes and films
Skills
I think my main ability throughout my working and personal life has been my ability to communicate. For example in the army I specialised as a morse code/telegraph operator and a signaller. In mental health my ability to communicate effectively was rewarded with rapid promotion and in my personal life as a musician I have played in bands, performed solo and busked in some major cities around the UK and in Europe. I keep a good appearance and live by a good standard of manners, politeness and compassion for others. I always make sure I'm early or at least on time(usually the former) and am never late for appointments or meetings. I have tremendously enjoyed my previous experiences working with casting agencies and especially meeting people from all walks of life.
