Jonathan Owens

Biography

I am a former Rifleman with the Rifles Regiment, having served for five years in the British Army based in Edinburgh. My military background provides authentic experience in weapons handling, military movement, fieldcraft, discipline, and command structures, making me particularly suited to military, security, law enforcement, and action-based roles. I met many characters during this period and developed a keen scale for mimicry both physical and particularly with accents.

Following my military service, I transitioned into the tailoring industry and currently work for Stewart Christie & Co, where I have developed a strong understanding of period and contemporary clothing, presentation, and costume. Through my profession, I have access to a broad wardrobe of high-quality garments suitable for a variety of productions, including formal, business, period-inspired, and military-style looks. I am also introduced to many different characters here and provides me with lots of inspiration for mimicry.

I bring professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic to every project. My real-life military experience allows me to portray soldiers and veterans with authenticity, while my access to an extensive wardrobe offers flexibility for a wide range of character types and productions.
